Description
EAB Navigate is UW-Stout's student success management system, used to coordinate advising, retention, and student support efforts across campus. Faculty, advisors, and staff use the web platform to review student profiles, set availability for appointments, submit progress reports and alerts, record appointment summaries, run reports, and create appointment campaigns. Students use the Navigate Student mobile app as a mobile advisor from orientation to graduation, where they can view class schedules, schedule advising appointments, track to-do lists, view progress reports, and connect with classmates through Study Buddies. UW-Stout participates in Navigate as part of a UW System initiative that began in Fall 2019. The three areas of emphasis are Care (advising, student support, and interventions), Inform (review of data points), and Address (acting on student or system issues impeding student success). Navigate's database currently includes only undergraduate students (traditional and CI); most graduate students do not have a file.
Access
Faculty and Staff:
- Go to MyApps and click EAB Navigate.
- Alternately, go to www.uwstout.edu/navigate and click FAC/STAFF NAVIGATE LOGIN.
- Faculty and staff can only log in through the web version. The mobile app is designed for students only.
Students:
- Go to MyApps and click EAB Navigate.
- For the mobile app, go to www.uwstout.edu/navigate, select STUDENT APP DOWNLOAD (Navigate Student), search for UW-Stout, and enter your UW-Stout credentials.
- The app can also be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play by searching for "Navigate College Simplified."
- Use the same username and password you use for all other university accounts.
