Inventory Management

A large portion of the LIT consultant's role is to assist departments with their computer inventory. This capacity can be served by assisting with computer purchasing decisions, non-standard device exemptions, and IT inventory management. Consultants will also assist with keeping systems in compliance, such as keeping the operating system up to date and make sure that critical patches are applied.

Learning & Information Technology offers HP Docking Stations for urgent departmental needs when standard shipping timelines are not practical. Business Manager approval is required.
Update Your Inventory
Departments on campus will need to periodically update their inventory. For a single asset, fill in the information, and noted changes. If multiple assets with several changes are needed, please submit this form with a spreadsheet attached and highlighting all changes.
