Surplus

When computers, tablets, and other IT assets are no longer needed, they are sent to surplus. These devices are processed by LIT to make sure they are securely wiped and management software is removed before the device is resold at surplus.

Benefits and Key Features

  • Devices are securely wiped before being sent to surplus.
  • Hard drives from high risk systems, such as servers, are shredded to maintain data security.
  • Devices are loaded with a blank image and are ready for an out-of-the-box experience after being purchased at surplus.
  • Departments do not have to try to determine if an asset needs to be erased, all IT assets can be sent to LIT for sorting.

Getting Started

  • Simply click Request Surplus to start the surplus process.
