Canvas Course UDOIT Remediation

Benefits and Key Features

• With new digital accessibility requirements, digital content must be made accessible, including content provided and linked within a Canvas course. 
• This service is provided to assist in remediating items in Canvas content marked inaccessible by the UDOIT Course Accessibility Checker. 
• Digital Accessibility Assistants within Learning Technology Services will review your course and remediate errors and suggestions for used, published content within your course.
  • Assistants will review and remediate errors and suggestions found in the "UFIXIT" tab in UDOIT.
    • Note that your UDOIT overall score will be impacted by extra content that is unpublished and unused. 
  • Assistants will not be able to review and remediate files used in your courses. 
  • Please utilize TidyUP before submitting your courses for remediation to clean up unused content. 

Getting Started

• Click the Request Service button in the right-hand menu to submit your Canvas course for UDOIT Remediation assistance. 
• Fill out the following information:
  • Link to course
  • Additional information that would be helpful for our Digital Accessibility Assistants to know as they review your UDOIT content.
